Introduction

These terms cover your use of the Blinkseed website and app. By creating a Blinkseed account, you agree to them. Blinkseed is in early access, so these terms — like the product — will keep evolving; we'll update this page as they do.

Early access

Blinkseed is a founding-families early-access product. Lessons launch first for Grades 7–9 and Grade 12, with the rest of Grade 1–12 following as we go. Setting your family up is free to start — there's no cost to create an account today.

Your account

A parent or guardian creates and owns the Blinkseed account. You're responsible for keeping your password private and for what happens under your account. Each child's profile is added by a parent or guardian — children don't sign up on their own, and don't have their own email or password with us.

Acceptable use

When you use Blinkseed, please:

• Use it for your own family, not to resell or redistribute access.
• Keep your login details to yourself.
• Don't copy, scrape, or reverse-engineer the lessons or the app.
• Don't use Blinkseed in any way that's unlawful, or that could harm the service or other families.

Content and ownership

The lessons, design, and the Blinkseed name and brand belong to Blinkseed (PTY) Ltd. We align our content to the official CAPS syllabus published by South Africa's Department of Basic Education — CAPS itself isn't ours, our lessons built to it are. You're welcome to use Blinkseed's content for your own family's learning; please don't republish or redistribute it.

Changes to the service

Blinkseed is still growing — grades, subjects, and features will be added over time, and early-access features may change as we learn. We'll do our best to let founding families know about changes that matter to them.

Ending your account

You can ask us to close your account and delete your family's data at any time — just contact us. We may suspend or close an account that misuses the service or breaks these terms.

Privacy and POPIA

How we collect, use, and protect your and your child's information is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
